With a good control and smooth delivery, Uehara is a regular on Japan's National Team pitching staff, and is the one who ended Cuba's 10 year, 134 game unbeaten streak in major international baseball competition at the 1997 Intercontinental Cup. Pictured here is his 2000 BBM card, showing him winning 20 games as a rookie hurler for the Yomiuri Giants back in 1999.
