Chin-Hui Tsao
When he chose to sign with Colorado over other rich baseball tradition teams such as the Yankees, Dodgers, and Braves, Tsao said, "I like Rockie's uniforms." Clearly no one warned him about the thin air in Colorado. Tsao was the first pitcher from Taiwan to make it to the show, and he also represented Taiwan in the 2004 Olympics, where his fastball was clocked at 101 mph! Pictured here is his card from the 2001 Choice Carolina League Top Prospects set, showing him as a member of the Salem Avalanche, where he signed for me in Chinese.
