Masao Kida
Kida earns a great deal of respect from me because he would accept less salary from teams in the US instead of staying in Japan and make more money pitching in the Japanese League in 2003. After two years of absence in the Majors, Kida made it back! Pictured here is his 1999 Topps Gallery Apprentices card, where he signed in Japanese for me. Kida's autograph also sort of got me started to collecting autographs in person.
