Bill Holland 1939 William David Holland Bats: Left Throws: Left Height: 6'1" Weight: 190 lbs. Born: June 4, 1915 in Varina, NC   The first player from East Carolina ever make it to the show and inducted to the school's Hall of Fame in 1975 where he was also a football standout, Holland debuted back in 1939 and his Major League career only lasted ten days.
