"The Old Reflector"
"End of Era." After launching this website
project back in the summer of
2003, and having this domain name the last five years, I
never imagined that this website could get this far, it gave
me opportunities to met lots of people I never expected see,
however I have made a decision of not having anymore
weekly updates for the 2010 season at the homepage, other
pages will still be updated once in a while and this site will
continue to be running to serve as helpful reference purposes.

"Godzilla to Rival?" Hideki Matsui previously was
rumored of playing for
Hanshin Tigers next season, his former team in Japan
Yomiuri Giants' biggest rival, now after his stock raise
dramatically after putting up big offensive numbers
he is considered to be an option for Boston Red Sox
next season? While I am entertained by the idea, I still
feel there will be no Godzilla in Red Sox uniform next
season, since Matsui's knee is not going to be capable
playing the outfield and the DH spot belongs to David Ortiz.

Matsui a possibility for Red Sox
"Far East Express."
Japanese reliever Ryota Igarashi, who can bring the heat
to almost 99 mph is looking forward to pitch in the Major League,
he hired the same agent that Hideki Matsui have to represent him.
Below is the
video where Igarashi threw 158 km
three straight times.

the money will also go to ThinkCure! the team's official charity.

"Outfield Outing?" With a few
knee operations these last couple years,
Hideki Matsui has been the full-time DH this season,
however that could change as the 2009 World Series
heading to Philadelphia, and Matsui, who is hitting well,
will either have to play the outfield, or come off the bench.

"Kikuchi Decides." Yusei

pick during the Japanese baseball's amateur players draft.

"Mariners' Moves." Japanese
stud amateur pitcher Yusei Kikuchi is on
several MLB teams' radar, including Seattle Mariners.
Kenji Johjima's
main reason why he decided to go back
playing in Japan was based on playing time, he felt his
time behind the plate will be greater for a team in Japan
than staying with Seattle Mariners. Ichiro was named
to the Sporting News' American League All-Star team,
the 4th time in his 9 year career that he is selected.

Southpaw
Hong-Chih Kuo is a key member of the
Los Angeles Dodgers' bullpen, he has been in the
organization longer than any other current players.
(10/18)
Pitching in playoffs no small feat for Kuo
"50/50." Hiroki
Kuroda missed his last regular season start
with a herniated disc will pitch a simulated game at
Arizona against Los Angeles Dodgers' instructional
league players. If all went well, Kuroda is expected
to pitch again this season in the NLCS for the team.

Kuroda may be back in NLCS mix
"Happy Hopes." Despite
being injured and did contributed any this
season for New York Yankees, Chien-Ming Wang is
still with the team heading into the playoffs. Wang
hope to still wearing the pinstripes for the 2010 season.
(10/8)
Wang happy to be with Yanks for playoffs
"New & Improved." Daisuke
Matsuzaka finished up the regular season strong, since
coming back from the 60-day DL, he is 3 - 1 with ERA of 2.22, he
pitched 6 innings, gave up 2 runs on 5 hits and 3 walks to go with
